ASIAC Conference 2024 @ Ca’ Foscari University, Venice was a great success – my participation

As a member of the Board of Directors of ASIAC, the Italian Association for Studies on Central Asia and the Caucasus, I contributed to organise the ASIAC 2024 conference at Ca’ Foscari University in Venice.

This year’s edition of the ASIAC conference was the most successful in the history of the association, both in terms of quality and quantity of contributions. We had 30 panels with around 150 participants from all over the world, including from many of the countries in the two regions that we focus our attention on. I took part in the following panels:

This panel presented an edited volume with the same title as the panel edited by Franco Galdini and Eugenia Pesci.
Panel “What’s in a Job?”
This was a special session where we showed three videos from the Zhelezka summer school that I joined in the summer of 2023. You can check out the videos and the visual diary.
